Hello, my name is Beatriz Oliveira, I am part of a group of 15 students of professional courses, 5 of Graphic Design, 5 of Audiovisuals and 5 of Communication-Marketing, Public Relations and Advertising. We are in the 11th grade and our age is between the ages of 16 and 19.
We are part of the Agrupamento de Escolas Dr. Serafim Leite.
Our school is located in São João da Madeira which is a Portuguese city of the District of Aveiro, the Metropolitan Area of Porto and the Northern Region of Portugal.
We have with us two teachers who exchange with two others at the end of each week. This week we are with the director of our school, Anabela Brandão, and with computer teacher Ana Monteiro.
The students are divided by 4 different host families and the teachers are also in one. So far no one has made any complaints about the house they are in, I personally really enjoy the house where I am.
Our trip to Malaga started on June 1st, but we only arrived when it was past midnight on day 2, we will return to Portugal on July 2nd.
During this month we will train, all in different spaces. I’m working on Passion Bike, 3 are at Asociación Arrabal-AID, 8 are at Copyrap, 2 are at Málaga Adventures and one is at Reaidencia de Estudiantes La Rosaleda.
At this time there is another group of 15 students from our school to train in erasmus in Ireland in Cork with Training Vision.
In my opinion internship in Erasmus is very good and some of its advantages are the learning of other languages, interaction with other cultures and the improvement of our abilities regarding the course, so I think students should take advantage when they have the opportunity to participate in erasmus projects.
