Studenti lettoni della Rezekne Art and Design Secondary School in stage di grafica a Rimini
Dieci studenti della scuola professionale lettone (Rezekne Art and Design Secondary School) hanno svolto a Rimini uno stage formativo di grafica, della durata di tre settimane, presso l’agenzia di grafica di Veronica D’Andrea.
Dopo una visita approfondita della città e tanto lavoro, gli studenti hanno creato la loro versione del logo del Comune di Rimini, progettato un Brand Manual e ideato una brochure sulla città, tutto filtrato dal loro sguardo di giovani europei. Inoltre, hanno realizzato un progetto di grande creatività artistica, un murales nel quale hanno rappresentato il legame tra la città ospitante (Rimini) e quella d’origine (Rezekne). “Sono stati molto bravi, hanno creato opere davvero interessanti” ha detto il grafico Veronica D’Andrea.
Gli studenti lettoni, infine, hanno visitato la mostra xilografia presso la Far, accompagnati dalla sua curatrice, Alessandra Bigi-Iotti ed hanno seguito il workshop di xilografia tenuto da Veronica Azzinari,, reinterpretando a loro modo le opere della mostra.
Come Training Tutor del gruppo da parte di Sistema Turismo aggiungo: “Imparare facendo uno stage pratico in un altro Paese apre la mente degli studenti. Anche io sono venuta in Italia con un progetto Europeo che mi ha cambiato la vita, così ho deciso di aiutare gli altri a formarsi grazie ai progetti Erasmus plus….perché, come diceva Giacomo Leopardi, “Il fare è il miglior modo d’imparare”.

Latvian students from the Rezekne Art and Design Secondary School for a graphic design internship in Rimini.
Ten students from the Latvian professional school Rezekne Art and Design Secondary School had a three-week graphic internship at Veronica D’Andrea grafic agency in Rimini.
After a city tour and lots of work, the students created their own version of the Rimini City logo, designed a Brand Manual and created a brochure about the city, all through their eyes of young Europeans. In addition, they created a project of great artistic creativity, a mural in which they represented the link between the host city (Rimini) and their city of origin (Rezekne). “They did a very good work, they created really interesting works” said the graphic designer Veronica D’Andrea.
The Latvian students also visited the exhibition about woodcut at La Far, accompanied by its curator, Alessandra Bigi-Iotti and followed the woodcut workshop held by Veronica Azzinari, reinterpreting the works of the exhibition in their own way.
As the Training Tutor of the group from Sistema Turismo I add that “Learning by doing a practical internship in another country opens the mind of the students. I also came to Italy with a European project that changed my life, so I decided to help others to train thanks to Erasmus plus projects because, as Giacomo Leopardi said, “doing is the best way to learn “.
