Il Memorandum of Understanding, come spiegato nel precedente articolo, è un contratto. E fin qui, niente di complicato.
Questo particolare documento consente di individuare i temibili Learning Outcome. Cosa sono? Come possiamo identificarli ed inserirli in un contratto di pre-mobilità?
I Learning Outcome sono i risultati di apprendimento finali. In altre parole, i learning outcome sono le macro-area dell’apprendimento e si possono trovare nei programmi scolastici relativi a ciascun percorso professionale.
In questo modo, in base al profilo di ciascun partecipante al progetto di mobilità, ogni scuola coinvolta dovrebbe selezionare i learning outcome da far raggiungere ai propri studenti.
Il motivo per cui i learning outcome sono macro-argomenti è semplice: in questa fase nessuna selezione è ancora avvenuta, noi non sappiamo chi parteciperà alla mobilità e noi conosciamo soltanto il percorso, ma niente di più.
Individuando i macro-argomenti, i partner da noi selezionati sono in grado di trovare stage che permettono agli studenti di raggiungere i learning outcome concordati.
Un consiglio: il numero dei learning outcome selezionati dovrebbe essere proporzionato alla durata della mobilità. Per esempio, per una mobilità di 2 settimane, 10 LO sarebbero eccessivi.

The peculiarity of this contract is the identification of the “scaring” Learning Outcomes. What are they? How can we identify them and put them down in contract for pre-mobility?
LO means final learning achievements. In other words, LO are macro-area of learning. This information can be found in the school programs related to each professional pathway. Thus, according to each profile participating in the mobility, each school involved should choose few LO that they want their students are going to develop during the mobility abroad.
As said before, LO are macro-topics. The reason is simple: at this stage no selection is in place, we do not yet know who is participating at the mobility. We can possibly know just the year and the pathway but no more than this.
With the identification of the LO we make sure that the partners we’ve chosen for the mobility are able to find work placements where the students will cover the LO agreed.
Just a tip: LO should be defined in a reasonable number according to the mobility’s length. For instance, if we write in the MOU 10 LO for a mobility of 2 weeks, well, it is not realistic.
