“Il dolore che provo è troppo forte per esprimerlo con le parole. Condanno fortemente il terrorismo, che fa vivere bambini innocenti senza madre, ci fa vivere nella paura, fa soffrire le famiglie con la morte e che sporca il mondo con il sangue.” Questo è il pensiero di Aysenur Gulen, la nostra referente turca, all’indomani dell’attentato ad Istanbul.
Ennesimo attentato, ennesima tragedia, ennesime vite di innocenti strappate alla quotidianità.
La notizia di martedì scorso dell’attentato ad Istanbul ci ha riempito il cuore di rabbia e tristezza. La nostra serenità viene messa così a dura prova, ma è nulla a confronto del dolore provato dai cari e dai familiari delle vittime, ai quali tutti noi di ETN siamo vicini.
Da qui bisogna però ripartire e coltivare la speranza. Prima di tutto ci auguriamo che la Turchia torni subito alla “normalità” per dimostrare di non aver paura, ma questo non basta. Tutti noi, tutta l’Europa, dobbiamo agire perché questo avvenga.
Noi, con il nostro lavoro, ci impegniamo e ci impegneremo sempre di più ogni giorno a costruire reti di relazioni, persone ed emozioni, perché insieme si costruiscono le basi del vivere civile e nella tolleranza.
“The pain I feel is too strong which cannot be expressed with words…I strongly condemn terrorism, which makes innocent children live without a mother, makes us live with fear, makes families suffer for death, and which makes the world dirty with the blood.” This is Aysenur Gulen’s thought, our Turkish liaison, in the aftermath of the attack in Istanbul.
The umpteenth attack, the umpteenth tragedy, yet other innocent lives are ripped from their daily life. Last Tuesday’s news of Istanbul attack filled our heart with anger and sadness. Our serenity is put to the test, but it’s nothing compared to the pain felt by victims’ relatives and loved ones, to whom, we of ETN, deeply sympathetic.
From there, however, we need to start again and cultivate the hope. First of all we wish that Turkey gets immediately, back to normality to prove not to be afraid.
All of us, all Europe, we need to act because this happens.
We with our work hard and we always work hard more and more to build networks of relationships, people and emotion, because together we build the basis of the civilized life and tolerance.
